Dancing with the Stars a tremendously popular reality show airing on ABC is the American version of the British BBC television series Strictly Come Dancing.
Contestants are pairs of a celebrity and a professional dance instructor. Past celebrity dancers include a race-car driver, Olympians, football players, supermodels, actors, singers, an astronaut, and pop culture icons. Dance teams perform predetermined dances and compete for judges' points and audience votes. Couples that receive the lowest combined total of judges points and audience votes are eliminated until the champion dance pair remains.
